Enrolment Information

Thank you for your interest in applying to enrol your child at Floreat Park Primary School. All applications for enrolment must be made using the Application Form below. Please note that we are only able to accept enrolments for children that are permanent Australian residents, or hold an approved visa subclass number, and reside within our catchment area.

Non Compulsory Schooling (Kindergarten)

Applications for Kindergarten for all Government Schools can be made the year prior to their eligibility and applications usually close at the end of the first week of term 3. Please note that Kindergarten placements are limited.

Kindergarten Applications 2022

Applications for Kindergarten 2022 are accepted from the start of the year prior to eligibility and close Friday 23 July 2021. If your child was born between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018 they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in 2022.

Pre-primary Applications 2022

Applications for Pre-primary 2022 are now open for children born between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017! Pre-primary is the first year of compulsory schooling. All students of compulsory schooling age residing in the intake area that are either permanent Australian residents or hold an approved visa subclass number will be accepted.

Compulsory School

Pre-primary  to Year 6 applications can be made the year prior to attendance, or at any time during the year if you are residing in the intake area.  All students of compulsory schooling age residing in the intake area that are either permanent Australian residents or hold an approved visa subclass number will be accepted.

Please click HERE to see Floreat Park Primary School’s local intake area. When completing the application for Enrolment Form you will be required to provide evidence that you reside within the local area (this must be a current Gas or Electricity bill).

Immunisation Requirements and Birth Certificate/Passport

It is a requirement for you to provide your child’s current Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement as part of the enrolment documentation. KINDERGARTEN IMMUNISATION documents must be ‘up-to-date’ according to their AIR Immunisation History Statement and MUST be dated within 2 months of the date of application for enrolment to be permitted to enrol in Kindergarten.

You will also be required to provide the student’s birth certificate or passport.

When you submit your application form, please include a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport, immunisation records (as noted above), any visa paperwork and any court orders or other court documents that may be relevant.

Please note that if you are enrolling more than one child, we require an application form to be filled out for each child.
