Thank you for your interest in applying to enrol your child at Floreat Park Primary School. All applications for enrolment must be made using the Application Form below. Please note that we are only able to accept enrolments for children that are permanent Australian residents, or hold an approved visa subclass number, and reside within our catchment area.
Applications for Kindergarten may be made the year prior to their eligibility and applications usually close at the end of the first week of term 3. Please note that Kindergarten placements are limited.
Applications for Kindergarten 2023 are accepted from the start of the year prior to eligibility and close Friday 22 July 2022. If your child was born between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in 2023.
Pre-primary is the first year of compulsory schooling. All students of compulsory schooling age, residing in our intake area (see below) that are either permanent Australian residents or hold an approved visa subclass number will be accepted. Applications for Pre-primary 2022 are for children born between 1 July 2016 – 30 June 2017. Applications for Pre-primary 2023 are for children born between 1 July 2017 – 30 June 2018.
Pre-primary to Year 6 applications can be made the year prior to attendance, or at any time during the year if you are residing in the intake area. All students of compulsory schooling age residing in the intake area that are either permanent Australian residents or hold an approved visa subclass number will be accepted.
Please click HERE to see the Floreat Park Primary School local intake area. When completing the application for Enrolment Form you will be required to provide evidence that you reside within the local area (this must be a current Gas or Electricity bill).

It is a requirement for you to provide your child’s current Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement as part of the enrolment documentation. KINDERGARTEN IMMUNISATION documents must be ‘up-to-date’ according to their AIR Immunisation History Statement and MUST be dated within 2 months of the date of application for enrolment to be permitted to enrol in Kindergarten.
You will also be required to provide the student’s birth certificate or passport.
Application for Enrolment Form 2022. When you submit your application form, please include a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport, immunisation records (as noted above), any visa paperwork and any court orders or other court documents that may be relevant.
Please note that if you are enrolling more than one child, we require an application form to be filled out for each child.
