Following the easing of public health measures, our aim at Floreat is to provide a COVID-safe environment which focuses on face-to-face learning.

If a child is a household close contact, they may attend school as long as:

  • They are asymptomatic
  • Return a negative RAT test each morning during the ‘isolation’ period

Please inform the school if this is the case.

Free RAT tests for students

All students will recieve 20 free RAT tests. Please read Connect for details on how to access these.

What if my child has to isolate at home?

Under the new guidelines, the only reason for a child to isolate is if they test positive for COVID-19.  As such, they are unwell and we will not provide home learning programs.

However, we do understand that every situation is different and that these are still challenging times for families. If you are struggling to get your children to school (for example, both parents are positive and unable to leave the house) please contact your child’s teacher so that we can look at how to support you with home learning.

Please continue to keep your child at home if they are sick.

Resources for Home Learning

There are a huge amount of age related, currated resources on the following website which are curriculum linked and easy to navigate. If your child is at home sick, please follow this link to access them
